Dear resident Hope you are all well and having a good start to your week. Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the couple of weeks in the Blakenall and Coalpool area- The team have continued to attend and take part in the ‘right to succeed’ consultation process for Blakenall. HOME | Righttosucceed. The latest meeting was held at the Green Rivers Community Association centre- Green Rock Lane. In attendance was multiple partners from the local area. Megan Brookes a Blakenall resident was also in attendance, back in July 2024 Megan lost her brother Connor in tragic circumstances when he was murdered. Megan now wants to ensure that something like this event never happens again, she is working hard to bring the community of Blakenall together- she has highlighted just how important it is to stay connected to the services available. The team are supporting Megan in her work. Stolen vehicle has been in the Eagle works Dr area by team PCSOs, this had been stolen as part of a burglary from the York Dr area of Walsall. The team are continuing patrols in the Wyrley View estate, Goscote Ln, Bloxwich, Walsall – this is in response to continued ASB – door knocking/kicking. We ask that should anyone be able to provide any information to who is committing this ASB then to get in touch with the team. Tackling ASB is a top priority for the team – this is behaviour that is completely unnecessary and needs to stop. Any reports of anti-social behaviour can be made by visiting the below link-Report antisocial behaviour | West Midlands Police Patrols are being conducted in the Pavilion estate off Harden Road in response to suspicious activity/interference with motor vehicles – we ask that any incidents are reported to police immediately and any CCTV sent in to police as soon as possible.
